Olivier Klein
Currently, my work involves the three following areas:

- Stereotype communication and consensualisation: I am interested in the ways stereotypes influence how people communicate their impressions of members of out-groups and how these communication patterns in turn influence the formation and maintenance of shared stereotypes.

- Behavioral Confirmation: Behavioral confirmation and self-fulfilling prophecies have mainly been studied as interpersonal phenomena. I am interested in the ways these processes serve to preserve and change stereotypes and intergroup relations, and how they are determined by the nature of these relations.

- Collective memory and collective guilt: I am interested in the ways representations of the historical past of one's group affect the emotions associated with one's group membership and how these in turn shape social identity.
